Diagnose how the world's largest companies run, then automate it.

  • San Francisco, in person
  • Commercial
  • $160K to $200K base, $250K to $320K OTE + equity

About the role

Oway's enterprise team works in pods, and each pod owns a book of accounts worth $5M to $10M in annual contract value. As an Engagement Partner, you'll lead a pod. You'll diagnose how each customer's physical operations really run, find where IOI and our applications automate decisions and cut cost, design the rollout, and expand from the first application to more of the operation.

It's a strategy engagement where you also own the revenue. You'll work directly with Phillip, our forward deployed engineers, and our fleet network team.

Your first 90 days

Day 30

Take ownership of your accounts and deliver your first operations diagnostic, showing where automation on IOI creates the most value and the business case for each step.

Day 60

Get your first automated workflows live for a customer, starting with freight on Oway Rideshare, and run your first executive business review.

Day 90

Own a $5M to $10M book, with a rollout and expansion roadmap for every account.

What you’ll do

  • Diagnose. Analyze shipment, inventory, facility, and spend data to map how an operation really runs and where it leaks value.
  • Advise. Build business cases that operations, supply chain, and finance leaders sign off on.
  • Activate. Turn analysis into live workflows on IOI, coordinating our engineers, fleet partners, and the customer's teams.
  • Expand. Grow each account from its first application into new sites, business units, and use cases.
  • Report. Track performance and tell the story in clear weekly and quarterly reviews.
  • Shape the product. Feed what you learn back into IOI and our applications.

Skills you’ll need

  • Operations and supply chain analytics: network, freight spend, inventory flow, and facility performance.
  • Financial modeling and business cases built from raw operating data.
  • Strong SQL plus advanced Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Structured problem solving and hypothesis-driven analysis.
  • Executive communication: crisp written recommendations and decks that drive decisions.
  • Account planning, expansion selling, and commercial negotiation.
  • Disciplined pipeline and account management in a CRM.

Nice to have: Python for analysis; supply chain, procurement, or transportation consulting; logistics, manufacturing, or 3PL operating experience; familiarity with ERP, WMS, or TMS data.

Who you are

  • 4 to 8 years of experience, starting in strategy or operations consulting (MBB, Big 4 supply chain practice, or similar).
  • You've carried a number since then, in sales, account management, or a commercial operator role.
  • You earn trust quickly with senior operators and enjoy the details of how things get made and moved.
  • You want ownership of real revenue, and you move fast.

Compensation

$160K to $200K base, $250K to $320K OTE plus meaningful equity. Health, dental, and vision. San Francisco, in person.

How we hire

  1. Meet Phillip, Oway's founder.
  2. Meet our commercial and operations leads.
  3. A case: we'll share an anonymized operations dataset, and you'll present where Oway should start and why.

About Oway

Oway is building the coordination OS for the physical economy. IOI connects the legacy systems industry runs on with fleets, factories and robots through one open schema, Juno is the industrial AI that acts on it, and Oway OS is where the work runs.
