How do I ship something on Oway?

Simply click any of the links above to get started, you can create an Oway account instantly with any email or gmail. Once you log in, you can use our instant quote tool to check pricing on a shipment. If the price is acceptable, simply Create an Order to input further details and confirm for pickup.

Once an order is placed, Oway will match you with a carrier that will arrive to your location in usually under 1 hour (as long as it's before 3 PM on a business day). Orders placed after 3 PM will be picked up the next business day, and you'll be informed of your pickup window.

Before the truck arrives, please make sure to print and affix your Oway label to your shipment, and that your shipment is able to be easily picked up in an open area by the driver. Once it's picked up, it will be delivered to it's destination.

Do Oway drivers have lift gates?

Liftgates can be selected for all shipment types regardless of distance. Your driver will have the equipment to load your shipment for you (unless oversized), just make sure they are in a clear and safe place to do so.

How quickly do deliveries occur?

Generally Oway shipments arrive faster than standard LTL - this can range from same-day deliveries to a day faster than usual depending on the distance.

When you place an order, a driver simply reroutes for a few minutes from their usual deliveries to grab your shipment. So once it's picked up, you can expect it to get to your destination on the same route it was picked up on.

What is your insurance policy?

All Oway shipments are covered with $100,000 of cargo insurance by default.

Do you ship FTL (Full Truckload)?

We currently only provide FTL services to enterprise users. Generally, Oway only accommodates shipments that are 12 pallets or less.

Can I ship anything I want?

You can ship almost anything as long as it fits within the allocated space you paid for when placing your order. Pallets are also required, and shipments must be able to be picked up by a pallet jack. You can ship alcohol, but not chemicals, or any dangerous or illegal objects. We also do not ship cars.

Do you ship refrigerated goods?

No - Oway is only designed for non-refrigerated shipping. Please avoid shipping temperature-controlled goods as it breaks our Terms and Conditions policy. We also reserve the right to refuse any shipments placed on Oway.

How does scheduling pickup and delivery work?

When placing an order, you are able to select an opening window for your pickup and delivery - as well as the date for pickup. We encourage users to be flexible so that shipments can be done as efficiently as possible.
